Josef Hlavička specialises in real estate and construction law, PPP projects, commercial and corporate law, greenfield and brownfield investments, real estate-related mergers and acquisitions, public procurement and state aid and environmental law.

He has advised clients in connection with the construction of large real estate projects, such as shopping and entertainment centres, factories, motorways and airport terminals, including projects under the FIDIC international standards. Josef was involved in some of the most important transactions completed by our law firm, e.g., the construction of the first outlet shopping centre in the Czech Republic, construction of a new terminal at the Prague Airport, a pilot B.O.T. highway construction project and the largest greenfield investments in the Czech Republic in 2004 and 2005.

Josef has published numerous articles on corporate law and real estate law in both Czech and international legal periodicals.

Prior to joining our law firm, Josef worked for the Czech branch of Burns Schwartz and then at its successor Czech law firm.
