The most comprehensive and, according to the Law Firm of the Year competition, the most successful law firm on the Czech market, HAVEL & PARTNERS, is expanding its representation in the western part of the Czech Republic. As of the start of August 2019, its sixth office has its seat at Nepomucká 144 in Pilsen.
“One of our strategic priorities is the development of services focused on major clients who are commercially linked with German-speaking countries, especially Germany and Austria, whether these are companies and private investors directly from these countries or Czech entities that export to or invest in these countries. We want to be available to these clients near their place of business. Pilsen as a business centre of the West Bohemian region and a university city with a law faculty was a clear choice for us when it came to the localization of the new office,” Jaroslav Havel, managing partner of HAVEL & PARTNERS, explains the main reasons for the new representation in Pilsen.
“There is no large international law firm with an international reach operating in the western part of the Czech Republic which would cover specific advisory areas such as large corporate acquisitions and mergers, real estate transactions or foreign investments, and which would also have specialised legal teams for all key areas of law and all business sectors. We offer our clients not only extensive experience with advocacy at the highest level, but also shared know-how with the head office in Prague and other offices of HAVEL & PARTNERS,” says Marek Lošan, a firm partner, who is in charge of the new office in Pilsen.
The Pilsen office will focus not only on clients from West Bohemia but also from South Bohemia. The main contact points for these regions will be, in particular, partners who come directly from or reside in them. For West Bohemia it will be Marek Lošan and Jaroslav Havel, for South Bohemia it will be Marek Vojáček, František Korbel and Lukáš Syrový. In terms of management, the Pilsen representation will report to the HAVEL & PARTNERS head office in Prague.
“We want to gradually build a stable personnel team in the Pilsen office. There are already ongoing recruitment procedures for legal assistants, junior associates and associates specialising primarily in corporate law, M&A, and real estate law, ideally with excellent working knowledge of German and English. All current vacancies can be found at www.havelpartners.jobs.cz,” Marek Lošan concludes.
The Pilsen office of HAVEL & PARTNERS is located in the recently completed multifunctional building Ypsilonka, at Nepomucká 144, 326 00 Pilsen. The architecturally interesting building is located only 800 meters from the D5 motorway exit, the fastest road to Prague and to the border with Germany.
In the near future, a regional branch of the Cash Collectors collection agency, which closely cooperates with HAVEL & PARTNERS especially in the areas of management and recovery of claims of banks and other institutional clients, should also be opened in Pilsen.
