Petr Bratský specialises in contract
law, intellectual property, data protection, EU law and legislation advice.
In the field of contract law
he specialises in the drafting and revisions of commercial contracts, in
particular contracts regarding supplier-customer relations, intellectual
property rights, drafting of business terms and conditions and legal advice in
the pre-trial phase of commercial disputes.
In the field of intellectual
property Petr has focused primarily on film law, drafting of licence agreements
and technology contracts including drone law.
In the field personal data
protection Petr provides legal advice to a number of international companies
undertaking business in different sectors including the automotive industry,
food industry, and machine-building industry which process extraordinarily
large volumes of personal data of their employees and business partners. With
the introduction of GDPR he completed major implementation projects and
coordinated multi-jurisdictional activities.
In EU law and legislation he
primarily focuses on advice relating to the European legislative process and
more complicated interpretation questions of primary and secondary law.
Prior to joining our law firm, he worked for over two years in a major
Czech law firm where he primarily focused on business law and real estate law.
He also worked as legal advisor to a Member of the European Parliament in
the area of EU legislation and as an external expert for the European
Commission in the area of transposition of directives into Czech law.
