Michal Blahovec specialises primarily in pharmaceutical and regulatory law, but he also provides legal services in the areas of commercial and employment law.
In the area of pharmaceutical law, Michal´ experience includes advising on the various advertising issues of medicinal products and medical devices not only from the perspective of Slovak and European legislation, but also from the perspective of ethical standards such as the EFPIA and AIFP regulation or other relevant soft law standards. He also assisted our clients with setting up the distribution models in the pharmaceutical industry, the price regulation of medicinal products, and the pharmaceutical industry’s relations with HCOs and HCPs.
Michal also has broad experience with the regulatory issues concerning the energy sector. His experience includes providing comprehensive legal services related to the specifics of the energy business as well as engaging with the Regulatory Office for Network Industries or other relevant regulators. His energy sector expertise contains advising our clients on the issues of supply of electricity to the company’s manufacturing plant, the issues of transportation requirements in relation to transport of liquefied gas in bottles and containers, the issues of gas-based fuels business model from the perspective of contractual and regulatory feasibility under Slovak law, or the negotiation of an electricity supply contract in relation to an increase in electricity price.
