Martin Rott specialises in competition law, pharmaceutical law, compliance and regulation.

In competition law, Martin advises on cartels, abuse of dominance, merger clearance and foreign investment control. As part of his practice, he has represented many leading companies in proceedings before the Office for the Protection of Competition, administrative courts, and the European Commission.

In the area of pharmaceutical law, Martin focuses primarily on issues related to the distribution of medicinal products and medical devices, pricing and reimbursement regulation, and compliance. He also advises manufacturers of medicinal products and medical devices on competition issues regarding their intended projects and business strategies, including issues of dominance and abuse of dominance, setting up and changing distribution models, assessing bonus schemes and vertical agreements.  

Martin also has extensive experience in compliance advisory and has been involved in preparing and conducting competition law audits, specialised training for employees and management of major companies, and preparing compliance manuals.

Martin has been affiliated with our firm since 2017, first as a junior associate and currently as an associate.
