Jan Koval specializes in mergers and acquisitions, private equity/venture capital, legal audit and legal due diligence investigations, labour law and employee benefits.

He has represented numerous sellers and buyers in mergers, acquisitions and restructurings in the Czech Republic, primarily in the engineering industry, the food industry, IT/TMT, the consumer goods sector and services. During the past four years, he has advised on a large number of major M&A and restructuring transactions executed in the Czech Republic.

In the area of labour law and employee benefits, Jan has been involved in a number of projects, primarily dealing with contractual arrangements between companies and their top managers, restructuring of human resources, and setting complex employee remuneration systems.

Before joining our law firm, he worked for three years at the Prague offices of international law firms, including Dewey Ballantine.
