Jakub Kocmánek specialises in competition, administrative and EU law.

In competition law, he has advised clients in investigations and administrative procedures both before European Commission and the Czech competition authority, in connection with the abuse of dominant market position, and cartels. Jakub also advised clients in competition law based civil disputes. Jakub was in charge of related internal competition audits, and has provided legal advice on, and analyses of contemplated business plans and corporate restructuring, and prepared compliance manuals.

In administrative and EU law, Jakub has advised on compliance with various business sector-specific regulations, particularly in telecommunications, postal services, broadcasting, waste disposal and environment. In addition, Jakub also specialises in state aid matters.
